From 7 October to 19 November 2017 at the Great Exhibition Hall of the Latvian National Museum of Art contemporary art exhibition “Title doesn`t Matter” presented works of 32 Latvian artists.

The Jodie O’Shea Orphanage is funded only by private donations. This financial support makes it possible to cover the expenses required to pay for food, the administration of the orphanage building, the orphans’ education costs.

The Latvian Radio Theatre is celebrating its 90 anniversary. The special anniversary event took place on 17 August at the Latvian Radio 1 studio, and was attended by programme makers, actors and directors.

Summer in Latvia would not be complete without the ball rallies organised by Latvia’s community funds for their supporters within the local community.

Steinway & Sons at the opening concert of the Dzintari Concert Hall’s season. 02.06.2017.

The public debut of the new “Steinway & Sons” concert grand piano took place at the Dzintari Concert Hall . Further, the grand piano will exclusively be used in the venue’s historic Small Hall.

A "The Girl with the Shoe" is unveiled. 17.05.2017.

Under the Boris and Ināra Teterev Foundation’s "Art in Public Space" programme, Aigars Bikše’s permanent environmental art object "The Girl with the Shoe" has been unveiled at the University of Latvia’s Botanical Garden.

Ināra Teterev received the French National Order of Merit. 15.05.2017.

The philanthropist Ināra Teterev has been named as a Knight of the French National Order of the Legion of Honour.

KING LEAR: Flight from Paradise, in two parts. 12.05.2017.

The foundation supports the production of plays performed at the Mikhail Chekhov Riga Russian Theatre, including its production of William Shakespeare’s masterpiece King Lear. It was first performed publicly on 12 May 2017.

VIDEO: Do it yourself for your family table

The goal of the programme "Do it yourself for your family table" is to give people in difficulty the chance to grow their own fruit and vegetables to put food on their family’s table.

Academy of Intelligence - lifelong education programme. 25.04.2017.

Since 2011 when the Boris and Ināra Teterev Foundation started supporting Riga Stradiņš University’s “Academy of Intelligence” lifelong education programme, its events have been attended by tens of thousands of people.

V.Šimkus choses the concert grand piano for the Dzintari Concert Hall.04.04.2017.

The most appropriate model of the “Steinway & Sons” concert grand piano for the Dzintari Concert Hall was chosen by the outstanding pianist Vestards Šimkus factory. The Boris and Ināra Teterev Foundation supports the purchase of the piano.

DO IT YOURSELF FOR YOUR FAMILY TABLE: first contracts signed. 04.04.2017.

Under the new programme "Do it Yourself for Your Family Table", at least 400 families that find themselves in difficulty get an additional opportunity and stimulus to work the land in order to provide food for their family table.

From 25th March until 16th July 2017, the “PRADO 12 Characters” Exhibition – twelve masterpieces by world famous artists from the Spain’s largest museum, the PRADO, are on view for the first time in the Baltic region at Museum RIGA BOURSE.
