Scientists of the Latvian Institute of Horticulture have selected new varieties of sweet cherry and apricot. In honor of the long-term charitable activities of the Boris and Ināra Teterev Foundation, they are named after the two philanthropists.

The apricot variety 'Boriss' got its name in honor of Boris Teterev, while the sweet cherry variety 'Ināra Tetereva' is a tribute to Ināra Tetereva.
