From 2013 to 2025, the Boris and Inara Teterev Foundation invested €1.545 million in the development of the University of Latvia Botanical Garden.
Significant improvements were made to the garden’s infrastructure, helping transform it into an attractive destination for the general public - a place to relax, satisfy curiosity, spend leisure time, engage in research and education, and enjoy exhibitions, concerts, and other cultural events.
In 2022, marking the Botanical Garden’s centenary, the Foundation presented a special gift: an automatic irrigation system for the plant collections. This system now enables the garden to care for and preserve its diverse plant collections more efficiently throughout the entire territory.
Through these long-term investments, the Foundation has contributed to the Botanical Garden’s development as an important center for science, education, nature conservation, and public engagement.
