A public memorial service for philanthropist Boris Teterev was led by His Excellency Metropolitan Archbishop of Riga Zbignev Stankevics on October 2, 2019, at Riga’s St. Jacob's Cathedral.

In the cathedral, everyone had an opportunity to light candles and to join in thoughts, thus honoring the memory of Boris Teterev.

“I'm trying to improve this world, including health care, education, and of course, art. Why? I just want to. It is satisfying, as the Russians say, творить добро (to do good). It is also essential that my wife, Ināra, and I are on the same wavelength,” Boris Teterev once said in an interview. Doing good has been the credo of his life, the motivation behind every action and his true conviction.

The completion of the Rundale Palace restoration was the first grant agreement signed by the Boris and Ināra Teterev Foundation. When the restoration was completed, the Duke's Library, Duke's Office 2, Grand Gallery and Billiard Room became available to visitors. May 2013.

Under the auspices of the collaboration of the Boris and Ināra Teterev Foundation and Mikhail Chekhov Riga Russian Theatre, 10 plays have been produced: “Twelfth night” (2010), the audience's favourite – the play "Tango with Oscar Strok" (2012), "Suitors" (2013), "The master’s comedian" (2013), "Khanuma" (2014), "The Ghost from Canterville" (2016), "Medea" (2016), "To love" (2016), "King Lear" (2017), and "The keys to magic" (2018) staged for the centenary of Latvia. From 25th March until 16th July 2017, the “PRADO 12 Characters” Exhibition – twelve masterpieces by world-famous artists, which have brought joy to millions of viewers over the centuries at Spain’s largest museum, the PRADO, were on view for the first time in the Baltic region at Art Museum RIGA BOURSE. It became the most visited exhibition in the history of RIGA BOURSE and the most visited exhibition in Latvia in 2017. Under the auspices of the support to J. Vītols Latvian Academy of Music, on 25 April 2014, a newly built three manual romantic style organ was unveiled. In Latvia’s post-war history, this is the first organ to be newly built especially for Latvia’s needs and whose construction has been carried out by Latvia organ builders at the Ugāle organ building workshop.
