Signing of new agreements under the programme "Come and Do! You Can!”. 17.12.2015.

Since 2013, 160 Latvian NGOs have received EUR 712,100 in support under the programme "Come and Do! You Can!" for the implementation of various projects in their districts.

  • The support provided for the implementation of the project conceived by the Ludza NGO “Participation Has No Age” will provide new opportunities for at least 30 participants who will improve their computer skills, while 50 people will include Nordic walking or physical exercise activities in their daily routines and another 30 individuals will take part in charitable campaigns.

  • Photographed: an agreement regarding the provision of support is signed by the NGO "Ape’s Development Support Club". Their project will provide an opportunity for at least 130 of Ape’s residents to take part in Nordic walking, exercise and other sporting activities.

  • In turn, a project conceived by Jaunpils Parish NGO “7 Balls” will enable residents in the district to find out more about Balt patterns and costumes, to master interesting and unusual handicrafts techniques, to paint on linen and silk and to learn how to make green tea and how to use it for the benefit of their daily health.

  • The project devised by the “Arts Education Centre THREE COLOURS” will enable kids, families and students to spend nine months having creative fun in Christmas workshops, during Graphics and Design Days, at photography symposiums on Miera Street and at other exciting events.

  • An agreement is signed by an NGO from Tukums, “The Creative Personalities’ Club LIGZDA”. The Foundation will provide support to the project “Decoding in Tukums”, the implementation of which will result in the creation of better conditions for activities and the purchase of office equipment and activity apparatus.

  • The Vane Parish women’s club "GUNNA” will organise a number of events including a lecture and activity cycles focusing on physical and spiritual health, Health Days for kids and families. It will buy the inventory required for sports activities, thus giving at least 200 local residents the chance to benefit accordingly.
