Improvements have been made by 14 charity kitchens in Rīga, Smiltene, Valmiera, Jelgava, Daugavpils, Bauska, Varakļāni, Iecava, Liepāja, Vangaži. With the support of the Foundation, they also purchased equipment, made renovations.

The equipment purchased with the support of the Boris and Ināra Teterev Foundation will allow both to save the funds intended for utility payments, and also to organize the preparation of meals for people in need more smoothly. Various improvements have been made by charity kitchens in Rīga, Smiltene, Valmiera, Jelgava, Daugavpils, Bauska, Varakļāni, Iecava, Vangaži and Liepāja. In these kitchens, thousands of vulnerable people often receive the only hot meal of the day. These kitchens give out at least 42’450 free portions of hot meals per month.

The charity kitchen of the "Saules Kalns" Foundation has been operating since 2010. It specializes in providing assistance to children from large families, families with children who have lost their living space or are in a crisis situation (illness, accidents, etc.).
